Cosplay Review//Mio Akiyama

Hello my darlings! :D I am going to start my very first review with this lovely piece! I purchased this from TrustedDeal which is actually a wholesale website so I was able to grab it for a decent price. Shipping was $38.00 but  the total cost was still under $100.00! //Mio Akiyama Costume

Usually, I  try to make my own cosplays, so shis was my first ever cosplay costume purchase! I was super scared to buy it from a wholesale website but  I love how it ended up! Shipping was faster than expected  so that was also a pleasant surprise. 

I really love the way it was made in two pieces instead of  one, that makes it super easy to put on. The skirt actually has an elastic waist, which is good for me because I wear plus size clothes. Sadly, I couldn't figure out the shirt! It has three ties on it that I had no idea how to adjust so the top kept pulling apart. The design could have been more intuitive. A drawback from a wholesaler but one I can live with.

 The sash around the middle has velcro in the back so you don't actually tie it. The bow has a safety pin hidden on it so you can just fasten it over the back. Both of these features are lovely because if I had to tie it would probably look pretty  ridiculous.

My wig came from ebay, which is where I buy most of my wigs //Mio's Wig!


         This cosplay is super comfortable and extremely accurate to the character, so I'm giving it a 4.9/5. Overall I am in love with it and this is probably my favorite cosplay to wear! The price is $59.99, so it's a pretty great deal! They have all of the K-ON girls' outfits available for the same price so I definitely recommend this seller.

Cosplay review//Tamako Kitashirakawa

Hello hello, sweethearts!! (: Today I'm here to review this lovely Tamako Kitashirakawa [from Tamako Market] cosplay from the ever lovely cosplaysky~!!

Quite nicely packaged (: Off to a very good start!!

And here is everything right out of the package!! :D

The quality of the outfit itself is super nice!! The material is wonderful, and it's put together quite nicely (no skips in things~). It also fits great (that's always something I'm super nervous/picky about)!! I dunno how fond I am of the ribbon (?) part of it, but that's really nothing too big. I do like how they included hair ties and socks (I also really love the material of the socks)!!

I'm also really happy with the length of the skirt. I've seen a few sellers who have made it shorter, so I was pleased to see that cosplaysky stuck to the way it was designed in the show!!

 I really love how nice the rabbit looks!! ;A;

I received this item super quick [it came in two weeks after I ordered it]. Have to say, I'm beyond impressed with that!! Communication was also super duper excellent!! They were sure to respond within a day every time I messaged them!!

Overall, I'd give this a 4.8/5!! 

PROS:

• Wonderful craftsmanship (definitely don't have to worry about it falling apart!!)
• It includes the socks and the hair ties

Cosplay Review//Princess of the Crystal

Hey everyone!! Today I'm here to review this lovely Princess of the Crystal cosplay made by FM-Anime!!

Yeah, lots and lots of pieces. 

And me being the difficult person I am asked them to change a few things about the costume, and hey hey, they did an amazing job with what I wanted!! I'm normally not a big fan of sequins being added to a cosplay, but I dunno, I really like it on this. It really adds to it, in my opinion [ kinda makes things more magical (': ]

The top part was a little bit loose [ it's quite nice that they included see through straps to go along with the top, thanks thanks//it helps a good bit with that problem!! :D ], but other than that, everything fits pretty nicely (-:

So, you may be wondering just why I came to FM-Anime for this particular costume. The answer for that is quite simple, actually. See this? See this piece right here? Every other seller just wasn't up to par with what I was looking for. But this. This just blew me away. Especially the white frills at the end//which was a big thing that stopped me from buying from others. I don't understand why most people like to make them so thin and wimpy.

Let me say this, the craftsmanship on all of this is absolutely fantastic. 

Their customer service was pretty great, too. Every time I emailed them, I was given a response (in at least 24 hours, normally sooner), and I like that.

I was actually really surprised by the shipping (which was only $30.00)//especially once I received the package!! That thing was heavy!! 

[ the price all together was less than $200, which is a shocker (': ]

Overall, I'd give this cosplay a 4.8/5!! Absolutely WONDERFUL quality, great service, and amazing for fixing what I wanted (:

Review//Aladdin Wig

Hello hello, one and all~. I'm here to review an Aladdin from Magi wig that I purchased from fashionxover!!

My biggest concern was that the braid would be too short, but that definitely wasn't the case!! (: The color is just what it showed in the picture, and it came in right on time!! It was a little bit pricey at $33.37, but that's to be expected for a long wig [but hey, free shipping is definitely a plus!!)

I really love how messy the back is (thank goodness for already cut layers)!! Just how it needs to be (: There was a little bit of styling that needed to be done, but that's pretty much how it always is//so no problem there.

Overall, I'd give this wig a 4.9/5!! A little pricey, but the length, color, and just style really make up for it all!! Besides, it's lasted for over two years, and in the end, that counts for a lot!! (:

Review//Mawaru Penguindrum penguin hat

Well well, today I bring you a review of this hat from Mawaru Penguindrum that I purchased from skcos_shop!! (-:

I really do love this item. It's soft as can be and absolutely comfortable to wear!! While wearing it, I received a lot of positive attention//pictures pictures galore!! The price wasn't all too bad//though, paying $15.90 for shipping wasn't really what I was hoping I'd have to do.

I really love the length of the hat. I've seen a lot of them that have been too short for my tastes, but this one is just right!! The only problem I really have with it is that the top part is a little too big//though, that's probably just because I have a smaller head.

Now, I said before that I've seen a lot of hats that haven't been... up to par with what I was looking for. Let me just show you a comparison. Later on, I happened to purchase a Princess of the Crystal cosplay which also included a hat:

I can say without a doubt, the one I purchased here is the better of the two.

The only part that I liked better about the other is that originally, the other hat had plastic beads//instead of just plush ones like this one//but that's really nothing too big.

So, in to wrap up this review, I'd have to give this hat a 4.5/5!! Great quality and looks just like it does in the anime!! I highly recommend this whether you cosplay from the series or just like the series in general (-:

Review//Junko Enoshima wig

Today, I'm reviewing a Junko Enoshima wig I bought from eBay seller tellingad123.
Let me say this, I originally bought this wig for a friend so she could use it for her Junko cosplay... but once I opened up the package, I immediately fell in love with the wig//literally, I put it straight on after opening it.

Okay, I'll get away from my love of the product to go on to the stuff that really matters. Now, I really like the fact that the pigtails and main wig piece were in separate bags. I dunno, just made things nice.

Like I said, it's a short haired wig with pigtails that attach on//much easier than having to deal with real pigtails, that's for sure.

Now, the big problem with long haired wigs it tangling. But, even after wearing the wig all day, there were few, if any tangles//the fact that the wig itself is wavy really helps. I really love the volume of the wig, especially at the top of the pigtails.

The price ($27.99) was great, especially since it's a long pigtailed wig//'cause you know, the longer the more expensive. And hey, you can never go wrong when there's free shipping. It even came in right on time, too!! (:

In the end of it all, I'd have give this wig a 5/5!! It was just as the picture showed, wonderful quality, and actually the correct color (which is a big problem I've had with ordering wigs in the past). I absolutely recommend this (-:
